Learning From Our Differences is a PTA-sponsored program that encourages children to be empathetic towards others who may be different than themselves, and helps them build the skills needed to engage others in respectful interaction and inclusion.  Previous topics have included introduction to disabilities, visual impairment, hearing Impairment, amputations, learning disabilities, and Tourette's syndrome.

Our goal is to provide our children with resources and strategies to strengthen knowledge and understanding and ultimately make life easier for those with disabilities.  As children move through QRS, we will continue providing content to help our children learn from their differences.
